OSU Web Accessibility Center Fall '06 Workshops

The WAC is holding five workshops this quarter. All workshops are
given at no charge and are open to OSU faculty, staff, and graduate
students with appointments. Undergraduates will be accommodated if
there are seats available.

Registration is required. To read detailed descriptions and register,

Titles, dates, and times follow:

1. "Word and PDF Best Practices"
  (Friday, October 13, 1 PM)
2. "PowerPoint Best Practices and Conversion Techniques"
  (Tuesday, October 17, 9 AM)
3.  "(Almost) Dead-Simple HTML and CSS"
  (Friday, November 3, 1 PM)
4. "Web Audio and Video Captioning Techniques"
  (Monday, November 6, 9 AM)
5. "DHTML Convening"
  (Thursday, November 16, 1:30 PM)

The first four workshops are cross-listed through the College of
Education and Human Ecology. The workshops on Word, PDF, and
PowerPoint are cross-listed as Carmen training through TELR. A special
"DHTML Convening" is aimed at campus developers, in an attempt to open
up a conversation on the accessibility and general usability of
JavaScript-enabled web pages and applications.
