Reminder: Window-Eyes demonstration.

Come see a demonstration of GW Micro's Window-Eyes screen reader.

Jeremy Curry, Training Specialist from GW Micro, will be showcasing
the new capabilities of the Window-Eyes screen reader:

Where: ATTC Conference Room, 102 Pomerene Hall.
When: 2 PM, Thursday, February 22.

Window-Eyes is the primary competition to JAWS in the United States.
It is the first screen reader to fully support the Firefox web browser
and has one of the strongest implementations of the emerging
Accessible Rich Internet Application (ARIA) W3C specification for
dynamic web applications.

Jeremy, who is legally blind, will be demonstrating improvements that
are part of Window-Eyes 6.1 beta. Specifically, he will demonstrate
Window-Eyes integration with Microsoft's new Vista operating system
and Microsoft Office 2007. He will also show Window-Eyes operating
with Internet Explorer and Firefox and will be demonstrating use of
the screen reader on dynamic web content, similar to what will be
emerging as part of the next-generation, "Web 2.0" web applications
taking advantage of the W3C ARIA specification.

room can hold only 20 people.

Hope to see you there!
